All of the smoked salts are AMAZING! If you don’t have a grill or want the wood smoked flavor I highly recommended the products! I have been a fan from day one!
I buy smoked salt from several vendors. Hepps salt is a solid rich taste, and I’m always content with their product because it makes my food have a rich savory taste.
I got my bottle of Mesquite Smoked Salt in a Christmas gift set. I soon tried it on steaks I was grilling, and I was blown away. It adds a layer of smokiness to the overall flavor that is distinctive, but not overpowering, and really, really good. I now use this salt whenever I am grilling, and I consider it to be my "secret ingredient." I like it so much I had to look up Hepp's online so I have a steady source. I highly recommend it.

I picked up a bottle of Mesquite salt at the Uptown Art Show in Mpls this past summer. I added some Mesquite on the top of a macaroni salad I made for a baby shower this fall. It turned out fantastic. Added a subtle smoky layer to the dressing. Very well received, with a couple guests claiming it was one of the best macaroni salads they've ever had! Thanks!!!
