This Hawaiian lava salt adds brilliant color to any meal. Infused with activated charcoal which helps to naturally detoxify the body it is truly a beautiful finishing salt. Use this salt as a decorative condiment for any occasion.

I use this all the time in place of regular table salt. I appreciate that I can see it on my food, and it seems softer on my palette than regular salt.
I never knew that black lava sea salt was so good. We were out to eat and were given some for our steaks. I fell in love with it there, but never saw it in the stores. So happy HEPPS has it, because it’s superb.
Made some steaks and used the pink flake salt (sparingly) prior to cooking and the black lava salt as a finishing touch. Wow, yummy.
Or only are the product at hepps amazing, so is there customer service.

The black lava salt is absolutely the best salt to use on eggs or any lite color dishes ! Before I stumbled into the Orange Farmers Market and found the lava salt, I constantly over salted my morning eggs because my eyesight could not see the white salt being sprinkled onto my eggs! Now with "lava salt " I can see how much salt that I’m actually putting on my food and seldom over salt anymore! I’m back to constant salting of my food.
One of my many favorite salts from Hepps. A striking way to finish a dish AND delicious!
